امریکہ کی شمال مشرقی ریاست کنیٹی کٹ کے ایک اسکول میں فائرنگ کے نتیجے میں 20 بچوں سمیت 27 افراد ہلاک ہوگئے ہیں۔
فائرنگ کا یہ واقعہ ریاست کے کے شہر نیو ٹائون کے 'سینڈی ہک ایلمنٹری اسکول' میں جمعے کی صبح پیش آیا۔
کنیٹی کٹ کی ریاستی پولیس کے سربراہ جے پال وانس نے جائے واقعہ پر صحافیوں سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا ہے کہ ہلاک شدگان میں اسکول کے اساتذہ اور طلبہ کے علاوہ حملہ آور بھی شامل ہے۔
